Our dogs are first and foremost our family pets, our goal is to raise puppies that are healthy, well adjusted, and capable of spreading joy to everyone they meet. Our children are involved in every aspect of the day - to - day raising of the puppies and as a result the temperaments of our puppies are exceptional.

At Rosabel Beagles, our breeding program is intentionally small and thoughtfully planned. As a family kennel, we typically raise one to three litters per year, which allows us to give every litter the time, attention, and early socialization they deserve.
All of our puppies are raised in our home environment and grow up surrounded by the sights, sounds, and rhythms of everyday family life. They are handled frequently from birth and are accustomed to children, other dogs, and the activity of a busy household.
Over the past few years we took a short pause from breeding due to missed breedings and family commitments. We believe breeding should never be rushed, and we only move forward when the timing is right for both our dogs and our family. Because of that, we are especially excited to be planning a 2026 litter and welcoming a new group of puppies into our home.
Because we produce only a small number of litters, families often join our waiting list one to two years in advance. We always encourage prospective owners to reach out early if they are interested in a future puppy.
While our kennel is still relatively young and we have not been breeding for generations, we are fortunate to be supported by experienced mentors and passionate enthusiasts within the Beagle community. Their guidance—along with our participation in the conformation show ring—helps us continue learning and improving with every generation.
All of our breeding dogs are health tested and evaluated against the Beagle breed standard through conformation shows. While not every dog in our program pursues a championship title, each one is shown so their structure, movement, and breed type can be properly assessed.
Above all, we prioritize:
• Health, because a sound dog is the foundation for everything
• Temperament, ensuring our Beagles are kind, stable companions
• Correct structure and breed type, preserving the beauty and purpose of the breed
Some dogs simply prefer life outside the show ring, and we always place the happiness and wellbeing of our dogs above titles.
Our puppies are raised alongside our children and are well accustomed to people, animals, and the activity of our farm. They spend their early weeks surrounded by daily life—children playing, dogs running, and the constant companionship that Beagles thrive on.
Our adult dogs have ten acres to explore and spend much of their time outdoors with us. As a pack breed, Beagles love being together, and ours are rarely alone—they are usually playing with each other, following the children around the yard, or investigating whatever adventure the day brings.
Puppies begin gentle crate introduction around six weeks of age, and each puppy goes home with the crate and bedding they have already been using to help make the transition to their new home easier.
Before leaving for their new families, puppies will:
• Be CKC registered
• Receive a veterinary health check
• Be up to date on immunizations and deworming
• Undergo temperament evaluation
• Begin crate training and early potty habits
• Receive 30 days of pet insurance
Each puppy also goes home with a complete puppy pack, including food they are accustomed to, a crate, bedding, toys, and helpful information to support their first weeks at home.
Because each puppy is unique, our puppies are not placed strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. Instead, we take time to get to know our families and carefully match puppies based on temperament, lifestyle, and long-term compatibility.
When puppies reach approximately four to six weeks of age, we begin working through our waiting list and matching puppies to families. Deposits are generally honored in order received, though in some cases we may make adjustments in the best interest of a particular puppy.
Occasionally we may hold a puppy longer while evaluating it as a potential future show or breeding prospect. As the breeder, we reserve the right to adjust placements prior to puppies going to their new homes to ensure the best possible outcome for both puppy and family.
If a family needs to pass on a litter for any reason, their place on the waiting list can be held for a future litter.
The current price of our puppies is $3000.
A $500 non-refundable deposit is required once a litter is born and we confirm there are enough puppies to begin accepting reservations. Deposits are not tied to a specific puppy, but rather secure a place on the list for that litter.
While we do our best to consider preferences such as gender or color, final puppy placement decisions are made by the breeder based on temperament and overall suitability.
If a family declines the puppy offered to them, they are welcome to wait for a future litter, though deposits are not refunded in that circumstance.
Prices may change over time, however the price in effect when a deposit is placed will always be honored.
Our current wait time for puppies is typically 12–18 months.
Because of our limited number of litters, we encourage interested families to reach out early to join our waiting list. However, we also welcome inquiries at any time, as occasionally older puppies or adult dogs become available.
If you are already on our waiting list, we encourage you to stay in touch. Email, messages, and interactions on social media help us get to know our families better, which ultimately makes it easier to place puppies into the right homes.
Our adult dogs are health tested through Embark DNA testing and are screened for Beagle-related genetic conditions.
All puppies are also examined by a licensed veterinarian before going to their new homes and are placed with:
• A comprehensive health guarantee
• A lifetime take-back policy
• Ongoing breeder support
We remain available for the lifetime of every dog we produce and always welcome updates, questions, and photos from our puppy families.
All pet puppies are sold on spay/neuter contracts.
However, we also welcome families interested in conformation showing, junior handling, or becoming more involved in the Beagle community. Show or breeding homes may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
If you are interested in these opportunities, please contact us directly.
We are able to ship puppies within Canada via WestJet Cargo at the owner’s expense when necessary.
Our kennel produces both 13-inch and 15-inch Beagles, and puppies may occasionally be tri-colour or bi-colour. However, we cannot guarantee adult height or color.
From the moment a puppy is born to long after they leave for their new home, we are committed to supporting both our dogs and the families who welcome them.
Our goal is always to place every puppy in a home where they will be loved, understood, and given the opportunity to live a full and happy life.
Rosabel Beagles is a small CKC registered kennel and we are proud members in good standing with:
• the Canadian Kennel Club
• the Beagle Club of Canada
• the Western Beagle Club
